Postponed Fixtures FAQs

This page was last updated on 3rd April 2020

Q: What games have been postponed?

A: The FA, Premier League, EFL and women's professional game have collectively agreed to postpone the professional game in England indefinitely.

The action has been taken to protect the health and welfare of players, staff and supporters as a result of the COVID-19 virus.

Our Premier League fixtures at home to Manchester United, West Ham United, Everton, Arsenal and Leicester, as well as away to Sheffield United, AFC Bournemouth, Newcastle United and Crystal Palace have been postponed and will be rescheduled.

The same applies to our Women's FA Cup tie at Arsenal, home WSL fixtures against Birmingham City Women, Chelsea FC Women, Bristol City Women and Reading Women, and away fixtures against Liverpool Women, Manchester City Women and Arsenal Women. It also applies to our home Premier League 2 fixture against Everton and Blackburn Rovers, and away matches against Arsenal and Southampton, as well as the Under-18 Premier League fixtures at home to Arsenal and Leicester City, and away to Aston Villa, Chelsea and Reading.

Q: When will the postponed games be played?

A: The rescheduled dates will be confirmed in due course. All supporters with tickets will be contacted when this information is confirmed, and official Club channels will be constantly updated.

Q: Will my match ticket be valid for the new dates?

A: Yes, any fan that has purchased a ticket for any of the rescheduled fixtures, including Season Ticket Holders and those that have purchased via Ticket Exchange, will be able to use their ticket for the rescheduled dates. No further action is required if you would still like to attend. Details regarding the rescheduled dates will be communicated in due course.

Q: I am a Season Ticket Holder – what can I do if I can’t attend the new dates?

A: Once the rescheduled dates have been confirmed, if you are unable to attend you will still have the option to list your seat for sale via Ticket Exchange. Alternatively, if you know a friend or family member who can attend, you will be able to transfer your ticket to them via Ticket Share.

Q: I am a Season Ticket Holder and sold my seat on Ticket Exchange for the postponed fixtures. What should I do if I want to attend the rescheduled dates?

A: If your seat for the fixture has already sold on Ticket Exchange, you will not be able to use that seat for the rescheduled dates. You will, however, be able to purchase from available seats on Ticket Exchange once the new fixture dates have been confirmed. If your seat has been returned to the Club, it will show as available for sale.

Q: I am a Season Ticket Holder and forwarded my seat on Ticket Share for the postponed fixtures. What should I do if I want to attend the rescheduled dates?

A: If your seat has already been forwarded and accepted via Ticket Share, you will not be able to use that seat for the rescheduled dates. If you would like to attend the rescheduled dates, you will need to purchase an alternative ticket.

Q: Can I list my ticket on Ticket Exchange?

A: Once the rescheduled dates have been confirmed, Season Ticket Holders will be able to list their seat on Ticket Exchange.

Q: I am a Member who has bought a matchday ticket – what happens if I’m unable to attend the rescheduled date?

A: If you have purchased a ticket and are unable to attend a re-arranged fixture, ticket refund requests following confirmation of the revised date can be made via our refund request form.

Q: What if I am unable to attend the rescheduled Barclays FA Women's Super League games?

A: Those who have purchased tickets for our forthcoming Barclays FA Women’s Super League matches at The Hive who are unable to attend re-arranged fixtures, once the dates have been confirmed, should email tellus@thehivelondon.com to obtain a refund.

Q: Can I buy a ticket for the rescheduled games?

A: Yes, once the rescheduled dates have been confirmed, you will be able to purchase tickets subject to availability.

Q: Can I recoup my travel costs for the postponed fixtures?

A: We would recommend that you contact your travel provider directly for any rescheduled travel requirements. Coach tickets purchased through the Big Green Coach service will be valid for the rescheduled fixtures; however, any refund requests can be made via email to customerservice@biggreencoach.co.uk.

Q: Will any other first team games be affected?

A: As the professional game in England has been suspended indefinitely, our Premier League fixtures at home to Manchester United, West Ham United, Everton, Arsenal and Leicester, as well as away to Sheffield United, AFC Bournemouth, Newcastle United and Crystal Palace have been postponed and will be rescheduled.

The same applies to our Women's FA Cup tie at Arsenal, home WSL fixtures against Birmingham City Women, Chelsea FC Women, Bristol City Women and Reading Women, and away fixtures against Liverpool Women, Manchester City Women and Arsenal Women.

Should there be any further changes, they will be communicated to supporters as soon as possible.

Q: Do you have any further updates?

A: We shall continue to keep fans updated across Club channels. We appreciate your support and patience as we attempt to minimise the impact of COVID-19 across Club operations, continuing to prioritise the health and safety of our players, staff and supporters.
