Membership Renewals 2022/23 FAQs

Please see the following FAQs for any queries you may have about One Hotspur Membership renewals for the 2022/23 season.

 

  

 

 

What is the process for renewing?

All current One Hotspur Members will be emailed details about the renewals process.

Those who currently pay by direct debit will be notified in advance of their payment being collected. They will not need to do anything and their membership will be automatically renewed upon payment being successfully collected. We will attempt to take payment on or around Wednesday 25 May.

Those who paid by card last year will have been asked to register card details with us at that time. We will attempt to take payment using those card details and their membership will be automatically renewed upon payment being successfully collected. We will attempt to take payment on or around Wednesday 25 May.

 

 

 

How can I update my payment details?

If you have paid by card, and would like to update the payment details that we hold for you, please follow these steps before 5pm on Monday 23 May:

  1. Log into your eTicketing Account here
  2. Navigate to the person icon and click ‘View Account Menu’
  3. Click ‘Membership Renewal’
  4. Click ‘Update’ and then ‘Update Card Details’ or 
  5. Enter the new payment details and ensure you click on ‘Confirm new details’ to complete – you’re done!

Please note that it is not possible to change your method of payment at this stage. Members who pay by card will only be able to provide new card details, while Members who pay by direct debit will only be able to provide new bank details.

 

 

How can I manage another supporter's membership renewal?

  1. Log into your e-ticketing account.
  2. Once logged in, click the round human icon in the top right corner of the page.
  3. Click on 'View Account Menu' and select 'Network'
  4. Select the supporter whose account privileges you would like to amend.
  5. Once selected, you will be able to check whether you have assigning rights or management rights.
  6. To request management rights, click 'Edit' and select the option to 'manage' tickets. Then click 'Send Request'.

Once your request has been sent, the supporter will receive an email notification asking them to confirm that they consent to you managing their account. Once they have approved this request, you will have management rights over their account. If they do not approve the request, you will not be able to manage their account for them.

 

 

What if my payment fails?

Direct Debit:

If you pay by direct debit and we are unable to collect your payment on or around Wednesday 25 May, we will automatically re-attempt to collect payment on Wednesday 1 June.

Card:

If you pay by card and we are unable to collect your payment on Wednesday 25 May, we will not automatically re-attempt to collect payment. However, you can manually make your payment via your eTicketing account.

Please note that, we will be in touch to let you know if we have been unsuccessful when processing your payment, however, to ensure your membership is renewed successfully, this payment must be made no later than Sunday 5 June. To renew in this way, when contacted to do so, please follow these steps:

  1. Log into your eTicketing Account here
  2. Click on the person icon and click ‘Renew Now’ in your notifications
  3. Select your payment method
  4. Confirm everything in your basket is correct and click ‘Proceed to checkout’
  5. Enter your payment details and complete the transaction

Supporters who do not renew their memberships at this time will be able to purchase a membership again from Monday 6 June - please note that it will be treated as a new membership and any accrued membership points will not be carried across, and any subsequent Season Ticket Waiting List position will not be retained.

 

 

Can I upgrade from One Hotspur to One Hotspur+ when I renew?

Yes, for an extra £5, you can upgrade to One Hotspur+ membership and get additional ticketing priority as well as a position on the Season Ticket Waiting List.

Upgrading is simple – please follow the steps below no later than 5pm on 23 May 2022 - Unfortunately it will not be possible to upgrade your membership once this deadline has passed.

  1. Log into your eTicketing Account here
  2. Click on the person icon and click ‘Upgrade Now’ in your notifications
  3. Select your payment method and tick the box which says ‘Upgrade’
  4. Confirm everything in your basket is correct and click ‘Proceed to checkout’
  5. Enter your payment details and complete the transaction

Please note that unless you follow the steps above, your membership will renew at its current tier. It will not be possible to upgrade after the deadline date.

 

 

What if I don’t want to renew?

If you would prefer not to renew your membership, you will have the opportunity to cancel your renewal before we collect payment - to cancel your renewal, please follow these steps before 23 May 2022:

  1. Log into your eTicketing Account here
  2. Navigate to the person icon and click ‘View Account Menu’
  3. Click ‘Membership Renewal’
  4. Click ‘Update’
  5. Click ‘Cancel’ and confirm your decision

If you pay by direct debit, you can also cancel your direct debit agreement with your bank - this must be done no later than Friday 20 May to prevent payment from being collected on the renewal date.

Please note, if you choose to cancel your membership, we will be unable to reinstate your position on the Season Ticket Waiting List (if applicable) should you choose to re-purchase membership again from Monday 6 June.

 

 

Will I qualify for Junior/Senior membership?

Supporters who will be under 18 as of 6 August 2022 will qualify for Junior membership, whilst those over 65 as of 6 August 2022 will qualify for Senior membership.

This will be processed automatically and if you are moving into a different price category for this year’s membership renewal there is no action you need to take.

All other supporters will be renewed onto an Adult membership for the 2022/23 season.

Will I receive a membership gift pack?

As was also the case for the 2021/22 season, all Junior members will receive a welcome gift pack following the successful renewal of their membership. They will receive an email to notify them once it has been dispatched; this should be no later than the start of the 2022/23 season.

All Adult and Senior members will receive a £15 welcome gift voucher to redeem in our online shop.

 

 

I have automatically renewed, when will I receive all of my benefits?

We will contact all renewed One Hotspur Members with details of all of their amazing One Hotspur Membership benefits, including details on discount codes for SPURSPLAY, Spurs Shop, Stadium Tours and The Dare Skywalk, once renewals have concluded.
