Membership Renewals 2025/26 FAQs

For any queries you may have about One Hotspur Membership renewals for the 2025/26 season, please read our helpful FAQs below.

 

I would like to cancel my membership

The deadline to cancel memberships set up for auto-renewal was 6 May. If your membership auto-renewal was not cancelled before this date, payment will likely have been taken on or around Tuesday 14 May.

We are able to accept refund requests within 14 days of the payment being collected, so if you would like to request a refund for your membership please submit one of the forms below no later than 5pm on Tuesday 28 May. 

Please submit one form per One Hotspur Membership CRN which requires cancelling, and please ensure you only complete the form that corresponds with your payment method:

If no payment was taken due to insufficient funds:

For Direct Debit payment

We will automatically re-attempt the payment again on Friday, 23 May. If you still wish to cancel your renewal, you can prevent the payment from being collected by cancelling your Direct Debit agreement with your bank no later than Wednesday, 21 May. If you have already cancelled your Direct Debit through your bank, no further action is required.

For Card and Paypal payment

We will automatically re-attempt the payment again on Monday, 26 May. Unfortunately, there is no way to stop this process and if the payment for your membership is successful, and you still wish to cancel this, then you will have an additional 14 days from the payment date to submit these forms.

 

 

What is the process for renewing?

All existing One Hotspur Members have been emailed details about the renewals process.

Those who currently pay by direct debit will be notified in advance of their payment being collected. Their membership will automatically renew upon successful collection of payment on or around Wednesday 14 May.

Those who pay for their membership by card will have been asked to register card details with us when they purchased their membership. We will attempt to take payment using those card details on or around Wednesday 14 May and their membership will automatically renew upon successful collection of the payment.

 

How can I update my payment details?

Please note that the deadline to update payment details was 6 May. As this deadline has now passed, we will automatically attempt to collect payment using your existing details on or around Wednesday 14 May.

If we are unable to take a direct debit payment on that date due to insufficient funds, we will automatically re-attempt to collect payment shortly after. If the direct debit fails for other reasons, or if you pay by card and were not successfully charged, you will be able to manually renew your membership from within your e-ticketing account.

 

Can I upgrade from One Hotspur to One Hotspur +?

The deadline to upgrade your One Hotspur Membership to One Hotspur + has now passed. The next opportunity to upgrade will be during the renewals period for the 2026/27 season. 

 

Can I downgrade from One Hotspur + to One Hotspur?

If you would like to downgrade to One Hotspur membership for the 2025/26 season then you will first need to allow your One Hotspur + membership for the 2024/25 season to lapse.

Once your membership has lapsed, you will be able to purchase a One Hotspur membership as soon as membership sales for the 2025/26 season have begun. Please note that you will not retain your position on the Season Ticket Waiting List and we will be unable to reinstate it should you choose to upgrade to One Hotspur + in future.

 

What if my payment fails?

Direct Debit:

If you pay by direct debit and we are unable to collect your payment on or around Wednesday 14 May due to insufficient funds, we will automatically re-attempt to collect payment on or around Wednesday 21 May.

If we are unable to collect payment because you have cancelled your direct debit, we will not re-attempt to collect payment but you will be able to log into your eTicketing account and manually renew your membership before the renewal deadline.

 

Card:

If you pay by card and we are unable to collect your payment on or around Wednesday 14 May, we will not automatically re-attempt to collect payment. However, you can manually make your payment via your eTicketing account.

We will be in touch to let you know if we have been unsuccessful when processing your payment -  however, to ensure your membership is renewed successfully, please ensure you have made your renewal payment by the renewal deadline. You may do so by following the steps below: 

  1. Log into your eTicketing account
  2. Click on the person icon and click ‘Renew Now’ in your notifications
  3. Select your payment method
  4. Confirm everything in your basket is correct and click ‘Proceed to checkout’
  5. Enter your payment details and complete the transaction

Supporters who do not renew their memberships at this time will be able to purchase a membership again in due course. Please note that it will be treated as a new membership. Any accrued membership points will therefore not be carried across, and any subsequent Season Ticket Waiting List position will not be retained.

Will I receive a membership gift pack?

As was also the case in recent seasons, all Junior members will receive a welcome gift pack following the successful renewal of their membership. They will receive an email to notify them once it has been dispatched; this should be no later than the start of the 2025/26 season.

All non-Junior members will receive a welcome gift voucher to redeem in our online shop in addition to their various other membership benefits.
