Our Education and Football Development Centres provide the perfect platform for young people (boys and girls aged 15-21 years old) with a passion for playing and learning about football. Our carefully selected Education partners share our values around providing extensive opportunities and pathways for all young people to succeed and reach their full potential. The programme is devised to develop players as an individual and in a team environment, whilst ensuring they receive the best education possible.
Delivered by our experienced FA and UEFA-qualified coaches, each programme is unique and offers something different to meet the needs of every young person. With a coaching team who are well-versed with the Club's unique methodology and Academy Philosophy, alongside a variety of playing opportunities within competitive leagues, we ensure players receive the best coaching and playing experience based on their level of ability.

What course can I study alongside the Tottenham Hotspur football programme?
Our education partners offer a variety of different courses at all qualification levels.

How old do I need to be to get onto the programme?
Further Education Programmes (Sixth Forms and Colleges) are available for those who are going to complete their GCSEs (in Year 11), or those who are 16-19 years old.
Higher Education Programmes are for those aged 18+ who have completed Further Education and are looking for a university level programme.
Do you offer girls-only Post-16 programmes?
Yes, we currently have girls-only programmes at:
- Barnet Southgate College
- New City College (Campuses: Redbridge/Hackney/Epping/Havering Sixth Form)

How can I sign up/apply to your Education/Post-16 programmes?

Do I need to trial?
We highly recommend all players attend a trial/taster session. Please book this directly with your education partner of choice.
What do I need to bring to the trial?
- Appropriate football training attire (warm/waterproof jacket appropriate for wet weather football)
- Correct footwear (please check this with the education provider before you attend the trial)
- Plenty of fluids and snacks
- Shin pads (compulsory for all players)
- Goalkeeper gloves (if you have them and want to use them)
- Any medication (please pass this on to the head coach before the session)
Is there anything else I need to remember for the trial?
Arrive early for registration.
Please provide emergency contact details during the booking process.
Please ensure that you have fully disclosed any medical conditions (including learning difficulties) prior to the programme commencing so we can plan accordingly. Bring any medication (including your inhaler/EpiPen if you have one) to every session in a clear plastic pouch/folder with your name clearly labelled on the outside. Please hand this to the Head Coach on arrival so they can easily access this on the sideline if needed.
When are your open days/recruitment events?
We host our annual open/recruitment event each year at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. This usually takes place in January. For further information, please contact Paul.Griffiths@tottenhamhotspur.com.
