Please read in advance of your visit so you are prepared for your Climb experience.
Prior to your arrival
- You have completed your waiver form for yourself and any minors in your group. The link for the waiver can be found in your confirmation email.
- You have completed any additional entry requirements communicated in your confirmation email.
- If there are minors on the booking, it is according to the below adult to child ratios:
The Dare Skywalk
- 8-17 years of age: 1 adult to accompany 2 minors
- 12-17 years of age: 1 adult to accompany 4 minors
- 15-17 years of age: 1 adult to accompany 6 minors
The Edge
- 12-17 years of age: 1 adult to accompany 4 minors
- 15-17 years of age: 1 adult to accompany 6 minors
Upon Arrival
- If you are a wheelchair user, you are able to transfer into our bespoke padded wheelchair, or, alternatively, be assisted in doing so by a personal assistant or family member trained in manual handling.
- You are able to wear a body harness that fits around the shoulders and thighs, and fits in the middle with a secure clasp.
- All minors on the booking are over the age of 8 years for The Dare Skywalk, or over 12 years old for The Edge and accompanied by an adult aged 18+
- Visitors have their e-ticket(s) available on their mobile device. If this is not possible, visitors must have their tickets printed out on A4 paper with the barcode clearly visible.
- All visitors in the group are > 1.2m in height.
- All visitors in the group are <130kg/21 Stone/286lbs in weight.
- No one in the group is known to be pregnant.
- Anyone in the group who has access requirements has communicated with The Dare Skywalk team and has confirmation from a medical professional that they can take part.
- Anyone in the group who is bringing essential medication with them (for example, an inhaler) is ready to give this to their Climb Guide to carry for them.
- Visitors are wearing, or have brought with them comfortable clothes to be worn or changed into, which are to be worn under their climb suit or Gilet.
- Visitors are wearing, or have brought socks with them. Footwear is provided at Basecamp.
- Anyone wearing a hearing aid(s) or glasses have these tightly fitted and secure for the duration of the climb.
- Anyone in the group who has long hair will need to tie this back securely before the experience begins.
- All food and beverage items (unless required by diabetic climbers and arranged with your Climb Guide in advance) are to be locked up securely before the climb.
- No one in the group is under the influence of alcohol or any substance (legal or illegal) which would make it unsafe for you or them to take part in The Dare Skywalk climb, or fully understand the safety rules, policies, instructions and briefings given on the day of the climb by one of the Climb Guides.
- Personal belongings are not to be taken on the climb. This includes cameras. Visitors will be provided with a small locker to store personal belongings in at The Dare Skywalk Basecamp when at check in.
- All items are left at the owner’s risk. Please keep in mind lockers are small when deciding what to bring on the day of the visit.
