Subscription renewal FAQs
How do I renew my SPURSPLAY subscription?
Your SPURSPLAY subscription will automatically renew at the end of your initial subscription period unless you have opted out. Premium Members receive complimentary access to SPURSPLAY and will receive a Promotional Code when memberships begin.
What if I don't want to renew my SPURSPLAY subscription?
Although your subscription is set up to automatically renew, you can opt out of your auto-renewal at any time before the end of the subscription period. To do so, please log into your SPURSPLAY account, click the person/account option in the top right, then click 'Cancel' under your current subscription.
Once you have cancelled your auto-renewal, you will continue to have access to SPURSPLAY Premium content until the end of your subscription period.
SPURSPLAY FAQs
Are match commentaries available in languages other than English?
Yes, for all live match broadcasts and full match replays, commentary is available in both English and Korean.
To select Korean commentary, please begin watching the game and press the headphone icon (or settings icon) at the bottom of the video screen. You will then be given the option of toggling between English and Korean commentary.
Is SPURSPLAY available globally?
Yes! SPURSPLAY is available for supporters worldwide. On some occasions, certain streams may be unavailable in specific regions due to broadcasting rights – however, details (including alternative broadcast information where available) will be communicated via official Club channels.
Can I watch Men's First Team Premier League games live on SPURSPLAY?
Whilst it is not possible to watch Men's First Team Premier League games live on SPURSPLAY, highlights and full match replays will be available for fans to view within 24 hours of the game being played.
When will full match replays be available to view?
We currently expect full match replays to be available to view no later than 24 hours after the game has been played.
How can I redeem my promo code?
If you've been assigned a promo code, please follow the steps below to redeem it. Please note that if you do not already have a Spurs account, you will need to create one.
Please also note that promo codes must be redeemed through a web browser, not the Spurs Official App.
Using a browser (desktop & mobile):
- Visit play.tottenhamhotspur.com/signup
- Click 'Sign in to watch' and follow the steps to log into your existing Spurs account. If you do not already have one, follow the prompt to register now.
- Select 'Card Payment'. You will be asked for your postcode first - please enter it then click 'Proceed to Payment'.
- Enter your card details and promo code, making sure to click 'Apply' to ensure the promotion is applied
- Click 'Complete Payment' - you will now be directed to Secure Checkout.
Once your payment is successful, you're good to go! Sit back and enjoy hours of content either via play.tottenhamhotspur.com, tottenhamhotspur.com or the new Spurs Official App, where you see the SPURSPLAY icon.
Device Information and Troubleshooting Guide
What devices is SPURSPLAY available on?
SPURSPLAY is available on the following devices:
Desktop: PC and Mac. The website is available on all modern desktop browsers, including Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge
Mobile Devices: Available on iOS and Android smart phones and tablets
How many devices can I access SPURSPLAY on at the same time?
A SPURSPLAY membership allows you to watch video content on two devices at a time. You can have multiple login sessions open simultaneously but will not be able to watch multiple videos at the same time. If you receive the following message "You may watch Premium content on a maximum of two devices at once", you will need to close your previous session and refresh your device/browser to begin watching content on a separate device.
Can I cast SPURSPLAY to my TV from my device?
You are currently able to use Chromecast on Android devices for all SPURSPLAY streams, live and on demand.
To cast from an Android device, please follow the steps below:
- Connect your device to the same Wi-Fi network as your television
- Open the Official Spurs App and select the content that you want to cast.
- Find and select the Cast icon (usually in the top right-hand corner of the screen).
- On your device, select the name of your TV.
- When the icon changes colour, you're successfully connected.
You can also use Chromecast on all iOS devices. Please ensure you are using the latest version of the app from the app store.
Should you be unable to switch from a live stream to another video on demand, then please restart The Spurs Official app and click on the video you wish to cast.
I am unable to create an account - what should I do?
Please check that the email address you are attempting to register is not already in use. To do this, please select ‘Forgot Password?’ and attempt to reset the password for this account.

My feed keeps buffering / I am receiving a ‘media not found’ error message
Constant buffering or loading circles, or frequent changes in the quality of your streams, is likely to be caused by weak or interrupted internet connectivity within your Wi-Fi network. If you are encountering these issues, please try the following troubleshooting steps:
- Restart your browser, device and home Wi-Fi Network
- Close the browser that had SPURSPLAY open / the Official Spurs app
- Shut down your device
- Unplug your Wi-Fi router/modem from power for 1-2 minutes
- Plug your Wi-Fi router/modem back into power
- Restart device, open SPURSPLAY in browser
- Improve your Wi-Fi Signal
- Move to a more central location / closer to your device
- Move Wi-Fi router away from other wireless devices (microwaves) to avoid interference
- Move router off the floor
- Connect your computer directly to the modem
- Close the browser that had SPURSPLAY open
- Shut down your computer
- Unplug your modem from power for 1-2 minutes
- Plug your modem back into power
- Turn computer on, plug computer into modem via ethernet cable
- Open SPURSPLAY in a browser
If none of the above works, and you continue to have the same issues, please consider contacting your Internet Service Provider.
Desktop browser issues?
When trying to access a live SPURSPLAY event, if you are seeing a continuous loading circle or connection error within the video player, this may be resolved by signing out of SPURSPLAY, clearing your web browser's cache, and relaunching the browser.
iPhone/iPad issues?
For any issues on the iOS app, please try uninstalling and reinstalling the app from your mobile device:
- Check the app for any updates
- Remove the app from your device
- Restart your device
- Reinstall the app on your device
- If fails again try switching Wi-Fi connect
If you continue to have trouble, install any available updates for your iOS. If these suggestions do not resolve the issues you are encountering, please try accessing the app through a different network or Wi-Fi connection to see if the same issues occur. Android issues?
For any issues on the Android app please try to reinstall the app from your mobile device:
- Check the app for any updates
- Remove the app from your device
- Restart your device
- Reinstall the app on your device
If you continue to have trouble, install any available software updates. If these suggestions do not resolve the issues you are encountering, please try accessing the app through a different network or Wi-Fi connection to see if the same issues occur.
What are the system and network requirements to access SPURSPLAY?
MINIMUM SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
- A broadband internet connection (DSL/cable or higher) of 750kbps or higher is needed for SPURSPLAY. If you have an internet connection speed of 5.0Mbps or higher and your computer meets the requirements below, you will be able to enjoy SPURSPLAY content at its highest video quality.
MINIMUM WINDOWS REQUIREMENTS
- Pentium III 1GHz or higher or equivalent AMD processor with a minimum of 512MB of memory.
- One of the following operating systems: Windows 10, Windows 7, Windows XP, Windows Vista, or Windows Media Centre Edition, or Firefox v1.5 or above:

- Video adapter and monitor: Super VGA (1024x768) or higher

How do I reset my password?
If you have forgotten your password or need to unlock your account, go to the Account Icon on the SPURSPLAY login screen and click “Forgot Password?"
Enter the e-mail address associated with your SPURSPLAY account and you will receive an e-mail with a link to reset your password.
