General Information

What is The Dare Skywalk Edge?

The Dare Skywalk Edge is the latest visitor attraction to arrive at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Paired with the existing Dare Skywalk experience, the Edge is a new experience which challenges adventure seekers to an exhilarating 42m controlled drop over the edge of our iconic stadium. The Edge is the only controlled-rate descent off a stadium in the UK and the ultimate way to finish your Dare Skywalk experience!

After scaling the height of the Stadium and embarking on a journey to the golden cockerel, you will be attached to our rope safety system before testing your nerves and taking it 'over the edge'.

You can decide whether you attempt the Edge backwards-facing or, for those brave enough, forwards-facing.

How high is The Dare Skywalk Edge?

The Dare Skywalk Platform on the South Podium is the highest point you will reach and is 42 metres above pitch level.

How long does The Dare Skywalk Edge experience last?

The complete Dare Skywalk and The Dare Skywalk Edge experience, from your pre-climb safety briefing to de-kitting after returning from your climb, will last approximately 90-100 minutes. When participating in the Edge, you will descend at a rate of approximately 2 metres per second from a height of 42 metres. Timings may vary slightly on the day, so please allow time when planning your visit. Once you have de-kitted back in Basecamp, you will be directed to the Tottenham Experience where you will be able to view and purchase your professional photographs. Should you wish to visit and make a purchase from the Tottenham Experience shop, please check the opening hours before booking.

If you have people in your booking who do not wish to take part in the Edge, we advise that you meet them back in the Tottenham Experience after you have all made your descents.

I have a fear of heights - can I still take part?

In most cases, yes. Our Guides will help you accomplish The Dare Skywalk as well as The Dare Skywalk Edge. If you have any questions or concerns in advance of your visit, please let us know and a member of the team will get back to you.

Once you've begun The Dare Skywalk experience, you must complete it. At the highest point, you will be walking on a glass walkway 42 metres above the pitch. On the walk to the roof you will be waking on an incline of 14 degrees.

Once you reach the roof, if you decide that you do not wish to take part in the Edge, a Climb Guide will be more than happy to assist you in getting back to Basecamp via The Dare Skywalk.

Please use your discretion when booking this experience as you will not be able to return early once the climb has begun.

Can children take part in The Dare Skywalk Edge?

The minimum age to take part in The Dare Skywalk Edge is 12 years old and all participants must be at least 1.2 metres in height. Please therefore be mindful when booking your tickets that 8-11 years olds can take part in The Dare Skywalk but are unable to take part in the Edge.

Under-18s must be accompanied by an adult at all times on The Dare Skywalk and The Dare Skywalk Edge.

Can seniors take part in The Dare Skywalk Edge?

All visitors should have a general level of fitness and be physically and medically fit to take part. There is no upper age limit, and we welcome anyone who is physically and medically fit to take part. If you have concerns, please check with your doctor before booking.

Climbers must be a minimum height of 1.2m.

Will the same equipment for The Dare Skywalk be used for The Dare Skywalk Edge?

The same equipment will be used for both experiences - however, if you are completing The Dare Skywalk Edge you will also be required to wear a helmet for that experience. We will provide this for you on the Stadium roof.

Are there any health conditions which would prevent me from participating?

We do our best to accommodate access requirements so that everyone can complete The Dare Skywalk and The Dare Skywalk Edge. We may request for you to provide a certificate of fitness from a medical practitioner to confirm that you are in a fit state of health to participate in the Edge and to provide such further details about your condition.

Can I propose to my partner on the roof of the Stadium?

Yes, we would love to help you make your visit as memorable as possible. Please inform us ahead of time so that we can ensure everything runs smoothly for you - a member of the team will get back to you as soon as possible. You will need to give the ring to your Guide, who will keep it safe for you until the opportune moment.

Your opportunity for proposal will be once you have reached the viewing platform. Your Guide will also be on hand to take pictures. If you wish to find out more information about proposing on the Dare Skywalk, please feel free to get in touch.

Can I do the experience if I am pregnant?

Unfortunately, those who are pregnant are unable to take part in any Dare Skywalk and The Dare Skywalk Edge activity. It is a physically demanding activity and requires you to wear a harness which fits tightly across the body.

We have Stadium Tours available daily, which are completely accessible and suitable for those who are pregnant. Please click here for more information.

What if I am late?

We advise that you arrive 20 minutes before the time of your scheduled experience. This will allow time for check-in and use of toilet and locker facilities before kitting up and embarking on the experience.
